Welcome to STEM Summer Camp 2024!

This camp truly has it all!  We explore different science based themes each afternoon as well as enjoy recreational field trips each morning.  The perfect balance of structure and fun.  Early Bird Registration is open now until March 15, 2024.  The Early Bird Rate is $135 per week and includes all field trips and activities.  After March 15 the rate are $150 per week is registering for 7-11 weeks, $165 per week if registering for 4-6 weeks, and $175 per week if registering for 1-3 weeks.  Spaces fill up fast, so get signed up early! 

 

Summer camp includes fun themed STEM activities, field trips, games, arts, and more!  Weekly and daily options are available.  Camp is open daily 7:00 am - 6:15 pm and registration is open for campers ages 5 -13.

Fun Weekly Themes

In addition to fun trips to the pool, parks, museums, nature centers, and more, we explore weekly themes each morning here at STEM Encounters.  These morning camps are hands-on and fun keeping campers busy and engaged.

June 10-14

Super Hero STEM Camp

 

We are testing the limits and science behind our favorite super heros as we take on our own super powers through science.  Sometimes reality is even more impressive than make believe!  

 

June 17-21

Inventor and Engineers Camp

 

This camp teaches the tools needed to let your creativity take off with hands on construction of your best ideas.  Get creative and get to constructing your own inventions.

June 24-28

Escape Room: Engineers

 

 

 

Time is ticking and the challenge it to decode, decipher, and reveal all the answers to the clues given in our engineering themed challenges.  Campers will use their wits and each other as they collaborate and work their way through each fun and sometimes messy challenge.

Lego Creations

July 1-3

Lego Creations Camp

​

Using motorized parts and inspiring examples campers will create Lego creations that move, lift, turn , and pull.  The ideas are limitless and campers will have fun making multiple inventions and testing out challenges.

 

July 8-12

Intrepid Detectives

 

Campers are on a mission to uncover several mysteries using science as to aid in working out exactly what has happened.  Through deciphering clues, using resources, and working as a team campers unearth some incredible finds and solve the mysteries.

July 15-19

Movie Makers Video Production

 

Campers will get creative as they learn how to plan, shoot, and edit a mini movie.  This camp has something for every personality: the planner, the showman, and the behind the scenes tech guru.

July 22-26

YouTube Video Making

​

Campers will learn how to edit videos, create a channel, and come up with science based content for a Youtube channel.  Learn all the skills needed to be the next Mr. Beast.

July 29-August 2

Intro to Robotics

​

With fun, hands on activities. campers are introduced to the world of robotics.  Even if your camper has never been exposed to robotics, they will enjoy learning through fun activities and creative challenges.  

 

August 5-9

Mad Scientist Chemistry

​

This is the week to get messy and create crazy explosions, bubbling concoctions, and learn all about the world of chemistry.  Campers will learn how chemistry effects their everyday life through fun experiments. 

 

 

 

August 12-16

Board Game Creation Camp

​

Campers will design, build, and play their very own board games as well as play life sized versions of some classics.  We will also talk about the copyright and trademark process.

​

August19-23

Rocket Science

​

This is a favorite for camper and teacher as we design and launch our own rockets and they are FAST!

​

​

We also have a STEM sampler camp available May 27-31 and June 3-7 for those attending schools that end their year a bit early.  Discounts are not available for these weeks.
